New Year’s Day silliness.

Playing with a Christmas RC helicopter gift – outside!

Last-minute relapse… right before our trip! (Hawaii photos to come.)

Returned home to “random acts of kindness” karma. =)

And some post-trip self-care and pampering.

As well as a fun evening in with some dear friends. Risotto!

Plus an amazing solo day at the zoo – including penguin-feeding!!!

And then it was birthday time & brownie cake for Monkeyboy Jr!!!

As well as a laser tag party and some glow-in-the dark mania.

A trip up the biggest “alligator” (the Calgary Tower) for the youngest.

We even got a sneak-peek *inside* the tower as my husband is doing a project with them later this month. Very, very cool!!!

Faux-cake for the youngest, as he is not yet a fan of the real stuff.

MORE prezzies! (Which makes the rest of the year difficult for them.)

And finally, some rest. <yawn>

Up next, some Hawaii photos (finally!!!) As I said, I shot them RAW and am having an interesting go of editing them… I’ve also been considering updating the look of the blog with a new more photo-friendly theme. I just noticed that the photo parameters for *this* theme have changed… which might hasten my switch-over. Wish me luck!
