TAB, Day 17

TAB, Day 17

The day started out well enough, with a playdate for the boys (and a lovely chat for the moms).

Silly Boys

The boys having fun (?) on the Plasma Car.

Baby's Love Keys 1

The baby was obsessed with my keys – will they open the highchair?

Babies Love Keys 2

Hmm. How about this purple seal?

Babies Love Keys 3

Maybe they will unlock a way out of the doctor’s office?

Back of My Hand

<insert “knowing something like the back of my hand” comment>

The afternoon was spent at yet another doctor’s office (and waiting room…), and then at a lab (and waiting room…) trying to get a blood sample from baby. They ended up sending me and the crying baby away because they couldn’t find a vein big enough to draw blood, suggesting we go to the Children’s Hospital instead. It seems to me, though, that wanting to draw two big vials of blood from an already anemic baby is kind of counter-productive somehow. Why don’t we try some non-invasive stuff first???

Anyhow. The waiting, the trying to keep the boys amused, the dealing with a fussy and crying baby, the frustration with the medical community, the lack of sleep last night…well, it has left very little in the way of photo inspiration today. Thank goodness tomorrow is another day.
