Gorilla Pics For Friday

As you may know, I volunteer my time/photographic resources to a theatre in town called the Loose Moose. One of the projects I started a few years back was taking fun and silly shots of the senior company members so that we could use them to advertise upcoming shows. En masse, they look something like this:

Well, over time the senior players have changed – some people have left the city, others are off traveling, and yet others have been “promoted” from the ranks of the newer company members. When people stopped putting up the portraits before shows because there were too many “gaps” (i.e. new people missing), I knew it was time to update the portfolio.

So, when I had a spare minute or two, I arranged to photograph some of the new senior players. It was challenging to get great natural lighting in the late fall / winter in the theatre hallway (where we normally do a shoot) – in fact, I dragged a couple of people out back, behind a dumpster just so I wouldn’t have to use a stark flash – and some people are still reluctant to get their photo taken… but I did the best I could with what I had. For today’s post, I thought I’d share the new additions I’ve been working on lately.

Lalala. Okay. Now I just have to find the clippie frames I bought for these months ago – and have since misplaced. *sigh* Ah, well. I hope y’all have a wonderful weekend!
