To Market, To Market

To Market, To Market

Sorry about disappearing like that. I found out two weeks ago that I would be sharing a table with a friend at a local Art Market Collective… this weekend! So I have spent the last 14 days workingworkingworking!!! It’s positively amazing just how much one busy mom can get done when she focuses on making things vs. well… being social. And, uh, her kids. 😉

I started the two-weeks by working on some birthday presents for the grandparents, my sister, and my best friend. Mostly photo-related, but still a lot of work to get edited and organized…

Then I dug out my fabric and started to sew…

Extra-Large Receiving Blanket & Coordinating Wipes sets.

And a schwack of different Reversible Aprons & Coordinating Towels sets.

I then went through my photo collection and printed off some of my favourites… big (well, 8.5″ x 11″)… for the first time ever. I have no idea if they will sell, but if not, I’ll have some great new artwork for my walls.

I then dug out my scrapbooking papers and took another stab at the quilted critters. Check out that butterfly – I finally made one that I’m happy with!

Lastly, I put together some fun Onesies Sets, each with three different sized pieces – like this Little Big Man set for boys. Not shown: the Olden Days and Superhero boys sets, and the Paris, Audrey Hepburn, Old French, and Inspirational girls sets.

Of course, as per usual, I ran out of time to make everything I wanted.

Like painting these 3D pieces. Oh, well. They would have felt “rushed” anyhow, so I’m kind of glad to be able to take my time on them later.

So, there it is. A suitcase full of goodies to take to Market with me. Wish me luck!
