August Break 2012 – Day 6

Yesterday started off as a bit of a write-off for me. Between the heat, the wrangy children, and the chores, I was in no mood for taking photos. Luckily, my husband is great at spotting an opportunity to turn things around, and after dinner he put together a wonderful family campfire in the backyard. I’m a lucky, lucky lady.

… and pretty lights.

It was quite magical.

After a little star-gazing, it was time to put the littlest Monkeyboy to bed, and go inside to watch the Mars landing.

Which in itself, was quite an amazing thing. Yay!!!
