Annual Leaf Photo Tradition

Annual Leaf Photo Tradition

Every year since we had kid(s), we’ve tried to get out in the fall to take some fun leafy photos. Where we live, the autumn comes and goes in the blink of an eye, so sometimes we miss out. This year, knowing that we had the reunion to contend with, we aimed a little earlier than usual. The result is a bit more green than golden, but we still managed to get some nice family pics. I ended up doing some photo editing just for me today, and figured I’d share.

A few I snapped while waiting for everyone to get it together.

A few of my Monkeyboys.

Some of my favourite family shots.

And one for the blooper reel.

What about you? Do you have any fall traditions or special times for family photos? Anyhow. Hope you’re having or have had a fantastic autumn! =)

  1. Loved these on Flickr, and love them here, Kate!
What a wonderful tradition to have and to keep.
Although it seems like a ways away, my favorite tradition at this time of year (late Oct./early Nov.) is the beginning of the Christmas cookie baking. I always look so forward to it.

Wishing you, and your beautiful family, a most wonderful weekend.

    xo.

  2. What a beautiful and happy family! Thanks for sharing these great shots–filled with realness and love. (BTW, hop over to my blog and see the life-changing decision I just made. I finally trusted in myself. Thanks again for your lovely card of support–in regard to trust.)
