August Break 2011 – Day 8

I’m afraid I’m having an off day. None of the photos I took today inspire me at all. So, I grabbed one I took a couple of days ago and played around in Pixlr-o-matic with different filters.

This is the straight on strawberry photo. I really liked how the “tony” filter highlighted the heart berry (once I had repositioned the photo so that it was central, that is)…

…but I wasn’t thrilled with the colour balance. So, I thought I’d try to layer on another filter…

This is “ivan” + “tony”.

This is “josh” + “tony”.

And this is “antonio” + “tony”… which is slightly different than the final product, which was “tony” + “antonio” + a little magenta filtering, transparency, and a “round” frame.

It amazes me what the click of a few buttons can do to a photo…
